The Professional Black Men's Association provides a series of youth programs aimed at enhancing educational and employment opportunities for area youths.
Among programs offered by the club is a youth tutorial program.
Beginning this year the agency will help implement "Grow Your Own" with Cape Girardeau Public Schools. Ethnic students interested in a career in education are supervised through their high school careers by a mentor from the club and promised high consideration for employment in the school system. 1991 is the first year for the program to be implemented.
The agency also has sponsored Easter egg hunts and dances.
