Kimberly Ruess, daughter of Dr. Robert W. Ruess and Joan Ruess of Cape Girardeau, is among the 59 students who are in the 1992 graduating class of the Professional Children's School in New York City.

The school, which has been in existence since 1914, provides a college preparatory education for young professional performing artists.

Appearing as guests of honor at the commencement exercises were Tony Randall and Brenda Vaccaro.

Ruess was nominated to Who's Who in 1992 Graduating Seniors. At age 15, she was asked to attend the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet.

She has performed workshop presentations at the Julliard Theatre at Lincoln Center.

Ruess plans to study for the third summer at Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle, Wash. In the fall, she will return to Fordham University and the School of American Ballet, where she will do lecture demonstrations.
