Five local students have received 1991 Procter & Gamble Fund Scholarships. The winners are children of Cape Girardeau Procter & Gamble employees. Winners are Jennifer Kopf, daughter of Kent and Sue Kopf of Cape Girardeau; Tonja Larson, daughter of Philip and Mary Lou Larson of Cape Girardeau; Christy Miller, daughter of Mike and Cathy Miller of Marble Hill; LaDonna Upchurch, daughter of Edgar and Linda Upchurch of Jackson; and Jenny Wibbenmeyer, daughter of Bob and Pat Wibbenmeyer of Friedheim...

Five local students have received 1991 Procter & Gamble Fund Scholarships. The winners are children of Cape Girardeau Procter & Gamble employees.

Winners are Jennifer Kopf, daughter of Kent and Sue Kopf of Cape Girardeau; Tonja Larson, daughter of Philip and Mary Lou Larson of Cape Girardeau; Christy Miller, daughter of Mike and Cathy Miller of Marble Hill; LaDonna Upchurch, daughter of Edgar and Linda Upchurch of Jackson; and Jenny Wibbenmeyer, daughter of Bob and Pat Wibbenmeyer of Friedheim.

These students are among 126 scholarship winners in the 1991 competition. Each scholarship provides the winner with $1,000 to $3,000 per year for up to four years.

Kopf, a senior at Central High School, plans to attend Drake University.

Larson, a senior at Central High School, plans to attend Miami University.

Miller, a senior at Woodland high school and class valedictorian, plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University.

Upchurch, a senior at Jackson High School, plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University.

Wibbenmeyer, a senior at St. Vincent's High School and the class salutatorian, plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University.
