"We've increased our space and added a new press," said Roberto E. Acuna, president of the printing firm which recently moved into the former city firehouse building at 1632 Independence.

The firm prints catalogs, wedding invitations, business forms, business cards, stationery and provides many other printing needs.

"We also do some screen printing," said Acuna.

The Acunas Roberto and Katie have been in the printing business three years. They are the parents of two children, Carrie and Amalea.

The business started in the home, then moved to 2711 Thomas Drive.

"We're leasing this building with option to buy," said Acuna.

Business hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Acuna has been a resident of Cape Girardeau 11 years. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with degrees in marketing management and art. He previously served as art director at a local print services company in Cape Girardeau, and has served as an instructor on the university level.
