BALLOT MEASURES

Constitutional Amendment 1: Extends the one-tenth-cent statewide sales tax for state parks and soil conservation for 10 years.

Cape Girardeau County Proposition 1: Imposes a half-cent sales tax. Money would pay for paving county roads, more deputies for the sheriff's department and a pay raise for all deputies.

Bollinger County Sales Tax Question: Imposes a one-eighth-cent sales tax for senior services. Money would fund the Tri-City Senior Citizens Nutrition Center.

Meadow Heights Proposition 1: Authorizes the district to issue up to $1.5 million in bonds for various school renovation projects. Would not result in a tax increase.
