Gale Dale, president of the Scott City Board of Education, recently earned her advanced certification designation by the Missouri School Boards Association Certified Board Member Program.
The program is designed to give board members the skills and knowledge needed to serve their communities.
School board members earn certification by completing professional development activities in board operations, policy-making and goal setting.
The Missouri School Boards Association is a private, not-for-profit organization based in Columbia.
