Cape Girardeau native Barbara Gilhaus Ristaino and her husband, Francesco, attended the Monday night taping of the show in hopes that they could announce the pregnancy on camera, thereby breaking the news to her parents.

Her parents, Melvin and Annabel Gilhaus of Cape Girardeau, are Limbaugh fans.

Limbaugh announced the impending birth at the start of the show as the happy couple waved to the camera. The Ristainos, who live in the Annapolis, Md., area, are expecting their sixth child in May.
