Sample voting booths and ballots will be available for residents who want to see the ballots or practice voting before the presidential primary or April general election.
The Cape Girardeau Central High School library and Cape Girardeau Public Library will offer the voting booth displays. The booth set up at the school library will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Voter registration also will be available.
Voters must be registered by today to be eligible for the April 4 election.
Information about Tuesday's presidential primary election also will be available at Cape Girardeau Central High School.
The Cape Girardeau Library will offer the sample ballots and voting booths through Tuesday. Another display will be set up March 27 to April 4. The library offers voter registration year round.
Vision 2000 is also sponsoring the voting booth displays as a way to educate the public and offer registration.
