POSTAL CONFERENCE SET TODAY

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Southeast Missouri Postal Customer Council is conducting a 1991 postal rates conference today at the Show Me Center. The conference is one of a series of semi-annual meetings.

Seminars are scheduled on rate information for first through fourth class mail and special services. Automation guidelines for each section will be discussed. Those attending can bring a sample piece of their mailings to test it for the automated process.

Cape Girardeau postmaster Mike Keefe said participants will be able to learn time and money saving methods of mailing. An exhibit area and vendor displays will provide additional information.

The agenda starts with registration at 8:30 and continues through the day, including a lunch. Registration fee is $10.
