Poplar Bluff benefits from TRCC

The Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce wishes to express support for Three Rivers Community College and its ongoing efforts to provide quality, affordable education to the citizens of our region. TRCC's commitment to maintaining high standards and reasonable tuition is greatly appreciated by the people the college serves.

In addition to the cost savings and educational opportunities provided by TRCC, the Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce fully recognizes the economic impact the college provides to our region. Due to the successful operations of Three Rivers, business sales are $114 million greater, and labor income is $48 million greater than would have been generated if TRCC did not exist. We value your contributions that help make Butler County and the surrounding area a better place to work and live.

The Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce extends our utmost support for Three Rivers Community College in its efforts to meet the educational needs of our communities. TRCC's goal of providing educational opportunities at a rate all can afford is not just commendable, but exemplary. We share that goal and wish the college well in its future endeavors.
