A Cape Girardeau woman threatened a customer with a handgun inside a gas station at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
Cape Girardeau police arrested Amanda Faye Francis, 31, after arriving at the scene. The Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Francis with unlawful use of a weapon, assault on a law-enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Francis’ bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
A witness said Francis threatened the customer with a handgun inside the Rhodes gas station at 10 S. West End Blvd., according to Cape Girardeau police Sgt. Adam Glueck. Francis kicked one of the officers after they went to the scene, Glueck said.
