The Cape Girardeau Police Department is asking the public for help in connection with a shoplifting case at Walmart.
According to department spokesman Darin Hickey, officers were dispatched to Walmart at about 4 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a report of shoplifting. Employees said three people entered the business and walked out with items without paying for them. The suspects left with a television, a surround-sound system, a media tower and small tables, valued at more than $500.
