Authorities were looking Thursday for a white Cadillac Escalade that struck a pedestrian in Cape Girardeau County, but no arrests were made by 7:30 p.m.
It was last seen heading east toward Cape Girardeau on Bloomfield Road.
Police have said the truck may be associated with an asphalt or paving company.
Gordonville first responders were dispatched to the scene of the hit and run just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
The vehicle, according to scanner traffic, was possibly carrying four Hispanic males and had no license plate.
The victim of the hit and run was completely ran over, according to scanner traffic, after he tried to stop the vehicle from going through his yard. The accident occurred on Lett Lane off of Bloomfield Road.
Randy Morris Jr., Gordonville fire chief said the victim was transported to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries to his back around 11:45 a.m.
