The Cape Girardeau Police Department had no new leads pointing to a suspect in Thursday's robbery of Capaha Bank at Broadway and Kingshighway, department spokesman Sgt. Jason Selzer said Friday. Investigators were processing evidence Friday "but nothing has given us a pinpoint on anybody," Selzer said. Shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday, a man described as being in his mid-20s walked into the bank, handed the teller a note demanding money and fled. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a blue and white scarf over the bottom half of his face and a gray hooded sweat shirt with the hood over his head. Police are asking that anyone with information regarding Thursday's robbery call the department's confidential tips line at 339-6312. Anonymity is guaranteed. The regular police line is 335-6621.
