MINER, Mo. -- Police are searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery early Thursday at a hotel in Miner.

According to Miner police chief Chris Griggs, about 2 a.m., three men entered the Comfort Inn on Matthews Lane in Miner and approached the hotel clerk.

"They displayed a weapon, tied up the clerk and took an undetermined amount of cash," Griggs said.

The suspects then fled in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, Griggs said.

"We don't have a direction of their travel," Griggs said.

The female hotel clerk was not injured, and Thursday morning, police were reviewing hotel surveillance footage.

"We are currently investigating some leads; however, we do not have anyone in custody," Griggs said. "We will aggressively pursue all information that is obtained and make every effort to make an arrest."
