Police investigating Cape Girardeau business burglary

A Cape Girardeau bicycle shop was broken into over the weekend, police say.

Cape Girardeau police responded to an alarm at CycleWerx, 1407 N. Kingshighway, around 7:48 p.m. Friday. When they arrived, officers found that glass had been taken out of the shop's garage door, police spokesman Darin Hickey said. An undetermined amount of money was taken from the business, Hickey said.

No suspects are in custody, and the case is under investigation, Hickey said.
