Officers have located the driver they were seeking in connection with a property-damage case, a Cape Girardeau police spokesman said Monday.

About 4:40 p.m. Nov. 12, a dump truck struck a car twice at the Bi-State Oil convenience store, 612 S. Sprigg St., police reported.

A motion-activated video camera at the store captured the truck hitting the car, apparently intentionally, police said.

The driver, whose name was not released Monday, has been in contact with investigators, public information officer Darin Hickey said.

He said the case remains under investigation, pending review by the Cape Girardeau County prosecuting attorney's office.
