PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The Perry County Sheriff's Department was still searching Wednesday for a 45-year-old Perryville woman suspected of running a methamphetamine lab in her home. Authorities found the lab Monday at a residence on County Road 830 owned by Bridget M. Welch, who wasn't home when deputies arrived, according to Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf. Welch's friend, he said, Douglas W. Cary, 33, was home and was arrested. Cary is charged with unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine precursors and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. He's being held in the Perry County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
