A 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on a charge of second-degree burglary and two counts of stealing, according to Cape Girardeau Police Department public information officer Darin Hickey.
Hickey said in an email to the Southeast Missourian that at 9:30 a.m. police took a report of a burglary from Thomas Drive in which an undisclosed amount of money was taken from a pet salon business.
After an investigation, police arrested Christopher B. Roy, who is listed on a police summary as homeless, the email and records show.
Roy is being held on a $15,000 bond in the Cape County Jail, the email said.
