The Cape Girardeau Police Department will implement special traffic arrangements for the SEMO District Fair to insure the smooth and safe flow of motor vehicles entering and exiting the Arena Park area. Signs prohibiting parking placed around the park on Friday will begin being enforced today at 10 a.m. Police say any vehicles parked in "No parking" or "Restricted" parking areas will be towed away at the owner's expense and a traffic ticket will be issued...

The Cape Girardeau Police Department will implement special traffic arrangements for the SEMO District Fair to insure the smooth and safe flow of motor vehicles entering and exiting the Arena Park area.

Signs prohibiting parking placed around the park on Friday will begin being enforced today at 10 a.m. Police say any vehicles parked in "No parking" or "Restricted" parking areas will be towed away at the owner's expense and a traffic ticket will be issued.

On Monday, no parking signs will be placed in Capaha Park, North West End Boulevard and Perry Avenue at 7 a.m. to restrict parking for the SEMO District Fair Parade.

The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m., and Capaha Park will be closed beginning at 1 p.m. Only vehicles actually used in the parade will be allowed inside the park after this time.

Those wishing to drop off parade participants should do so at West End Boulevard and Normal Street at 4 p.m. to allow the parade to form.

Broadway west of West End Boulevard and Kingshighway between Broadway and Cape Rock Drive will be closed during the parade. Parts of Broadview will be closed also.
