When the nightmares came, late at night
She's the one who held you tight.
If your face would stop a 10-day clock
She said you're the prettiest on the block.
She cries when life has made you sad.
But when you are mean, she calls for Dad.
She read you stories, from the Bible
and prayed for you, In revival.
She couldn't sleep till you came home
When late at night, you went to roam.
if you*re so rich, that people hate
or you are down and out, and your payments late.
Jesus loves you, and He still cares
and your Momma's love, will still be there.
Don't tell me, friend, you're out of debt.
You haven't paid your Mom back yet.
