The annual Pleasant Hill Day in Fruitland begins with worship at 11 a.m. Sunday, followed by a basket dinner on the grounds at noon. Those planning to attend should bring their own table service, folding tables and lawn chairs. Guest speaker is Rev. Tom Bass, retired Presbyterian minister. Music will be provided by Jackson chorus teacher Tyson Zahner and Caleb Dyer playing the mountain dulcimer. Those unable to attend the annual day set aside to honor loved ones laid to rest in the cemetery can send donations for upkeep to Ruth Tinnin, 2825 Bloomfield Road, Apt. 107, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63703.
