PLANTS PLUS NOW HAS ADDED A NEW SERVICE FOR LAWN CARE

Plants Plus, 910 S. Kingshighway, has added a lawn care service. Joe Touchette, manager of Plants Plus, will serve as manager of the new service.

"I owned and operated a lawn care service here for 11 years," said Touchette. "I have experience in all phases of landscape maintenance, including lawn establishment and renovation, pest and disease control, and landscape design."

Touchette, a Southeast Missouri State University graduate, has a degree in horticulture, botany and agriculture.

The service will include fertilizer application, broadleaf weed control, pre-emergent crabgrass control, insect and disease control, lawn seeding-renovation, and landscape maintenance.

"This will be a new business operated by Plants Plus," said Touchette. "We will provide a complete lawn service."

He said the operation will require two more employees.

Plants Plus opened about a year and a half ago.
