PLANT MANAGER

Dave Blanchard has assumed responsibilities as plant manager for the Spicer Axle Division of Dana Corporation facility at Cape Girardeau.

Jack Reed, president of the Spicer Division, Ft. Wayne, Ind., announced Blanchard's appointment recently.

Blanchard graduated from Indiana University, majoring in industrial management and marketing and distribution. He started his career with Dana in 1968 in Syracuse, Ind., and in 1979 became area manager. Most recently, he served as plant manager at the Hilliard Axle facility in Ohio.

Blanchard and his wife, Kay, will be relocating to the Cape Girardeau area in the near future.
