PLANNING CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AS A WORKSHOP TOPIC

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Planning activities for children will be the topic of the January Workshop on Wheels program.

The presentation will be held Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at St. Vincent's Early Childhood Center, 1912 Broadway.

Teacher Kathy Brown will talk about planning a day, week or month around a special theme, using the theme, winter, as an example. She will bring music and language activities that can be used in group times, and materials will be available to trace; handouts will be provided.

Workshop on Wheels is sponsored by the Human Environmental Studies Department at Southeast Missouri State University and the Area Licensed Providers Association.

All area home and center childcare providers, early childhood teachers, students and parents are invited to attend. The workshop costs $7.50.
