MARBLE HILL -- A Piedmont man was in stable condition at St. Francis Medical Center Saturday night following a two-car accident eight miles west of Marble Hill.
Clarence Powell, 53, was taken to the hospital by helicopter after his 1987 Ford Ranger was struck by a 1995 Toyota Pickup truck driven by Karen Householder, 16, of Glen Allen, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The patrol said Householder was traveling south at about 2:50 p.m. on Highway DD when she collided with Powell's vehicle as she attempted a left turn onto Route 34.
