The piano duet team of Dallas Weekley and Nancy Arganbright will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Academic Auditorium at Southeast Missouri State University.
The concert is sponsored by the Cultural Programs Committee.
A recent issue of "Clavier" magazine describes them as "this country's premier duettists."
Following their Carnegie Recital Hall debut, Weekley and Arganbright embarked upon the first of many European concert tours. They have been consistently hailed as America's foremost one-piano, four-hand duo.
Largely because of their efforts, there is now a strong revival of interest in piano duets.
Piano duets have sometimes been thought of as music for amateurs, but there is an increasing awareness of this large and impressive group of fine works, including many by famous composers.
Admission to the concert is free with University ID card and/or Community Concert card. General admission is $3; student and senior citizen admission is $1.50.
