Photographers attending next weekend's Balloons & Arts Festival could win a $100 savings bond in a photo contest sponsored by the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri.
The contest is open to all photographers, and entry forms are available at area photography outlets and the Arts Council office.
Entries must be 5x7 or larger matted prints of events taking place at the Balloons & Arts Festival '95, held Friday through Sunday at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.
Photos will be judged on the best representation of the event. The winning photographer will receive a $100 savings bond, donated by Commerce Bank of Cape Girardeau. All entries will be displayed at Commerce Bank after the judging is complete.
Photographers may enter as many photos as they wish, with an entry fee of $5 a photo. The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri reserves the exclusive right to reproduce the winning entry to publicize next year's festival.
Entries may be mailed with completed entry forms, fees and return envelope for the photo to: Arts Council, P.O. Box 901, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702-0901.
Hand-delivered entries will be received at Gallery 100, 1707 Mount Auburn Road, through Aug. 31.
