Photo: School dedicates new library

The Cape Girardeau Board of Education voted to name the new facility adjacent to the junior high school in honor of the French-Canadian credited with founding Cape Girardeau. With $1.3 million available from the Lorimier Trust, a result of the sale of Schultz School in 2008, the $1.8 million library was built.
