JACKSON -- Historical pictures of local interest will be on display July 7 at the Oliver House Museum, 224 E. Adams St.
"They're pictures of the Cape Girardeau County area, usually from around the turn of the century," said Bernard Schaper, chairman of the Jackson Heritage Association's historical photo committee. "We have quite a collection of historical pictures, but we've just started displaying them in the hospitality room of the Oliver House."
The museum will be open from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Oliver House Museum is open the first Sunday of every month.
The house, which dates back to at least 1848, was taken over by the heritage association in 1976 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
