Gallery 100 will host its second annual juried photography exhibit during May.
An opening reception and presentation of awards will be held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the gallery. The photographs will remain on display through May 31.
Jan Chamberlain, chairman of Photo 91, said: "We received 337 entries from 95 artists in 24 different states. This was a very difficult show to judge."
The judge for Photo 91 was Joe Deal, dean of fine arts at Washington University in St. Louis. As judge, he selected 40 works he considered to be the best. The award-winners will be selected from that group.
The Photo 91 committee included area professional and amateur photographers. In addition to Chamberlain, committee members were Mike Grace, Southeast Missouri State University; Doug Adams, West Side Camera; and Margaret Hirschfield, Drury Industries.
Gallery 100 is sponsored by Southeast Missouri Council on the Arts. It is at 100 Broadway in the Boatmen's Bank building.
The gallery is free and open from 1-4 p.m. weekdays.
