PERRYVILLE TEENAGER KILLED IN SINGLE-VEHICLE ACCIDENT

PERRYVILLE -- A Perryville teenager was killed early Sunday when his pickup truck ran off the road and overturned, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Christopher M. Reiss, 18, was killed at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the accident on Route P, three-tenths of a mile east of U.S. Highway 61, said the patrol.

The patrol said Reiss's truck ran off the road and overturned. Reiss was partially thrown from the vehicle and the truck landed on top of him, officers said.

He was alone in the vehicle, they said.

Funeral services are being handled by Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
