A Perry County, Missouri, teenager was taken to the hospital with serious injuries Thursday after a single-vehicle crash on Highway V, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Randy E. Friedrich, 17, of Perryville, Missouri, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro south on Highway V at Perry County Road 900 when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, crossed a field and struck an embankment, causing extensive damage to the car, the patrol reported.
Friedrich, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Perry County Memorial Hospital, the patrol reported.
