Dawn M. Seals was taken to Madison County Medical Center and then airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital after the 9:15 a.m. accident on Route J in Bollinger County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred as Seals' van crested a hill and attempted to negotiate a curve. She lost control of the vehicle and it slid off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
