PERRYVILLE -- A two-car accident late Saturday in Perry County killed a Perryville teenager and left two others seriously injured.
Dead is Angela Renee Cassoutt, 18, of Perryville.
A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said a car driven by Matthew Heob, 17, of St. Marys, pulled out of a driveway and into the path of a car driven by Cory Stueve, 18, of Frohna. The accident occurred on a hill, the patrol said.
Cassoutt, who was a passenger in the Heob vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said.
Heob was taken by helicopter to Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, where a hospital spokesperson said he was in serious condition Sunday.
Stueve received moderate injuries and was treated and released at Southeast Hospital.
A passenger in Stueve's car, Jessica Presnell, 16, of Perryville, received serious injuries. She remained in the intensive car unit Sunday at Southeast Hospital in serious condition, a hospital spokesperson said.
The accident occurred along Route C in Perry County at 11:32 p.m., the patrol said.
