A 9mm pistol stolen from Cape Girardeau home in 2013 ended up in the safe of brothers who are charged with intent to distribute methamphetamine, according to law-enforcement officials.

Antoine Shockley, 47, and Diangleo Rodrigues Shockley, 44, both of Perryville, Missouri, have been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, felony unlawful use of a weapon, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Antoine Shockley was arrested by Perry County Sheriff’s deputies Jan. 15, and Diangleo Shockley was arrested Thursday.

Perry County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a search Jan. 14 of the Shockley residence at 230 Feltz St. in Perryville, with Antoine Shockley being the only one at home at the time, Perry County Sgt. Jason Kelley wrote in a probable-cause statement.

Antoine Shockley distanced himself from the bedroom belonging to Diangleo Shockley, and a search of that room revealed marijuana pipes and rolling papers on top of a dresser and three plastic bags containing a half gram of methamphetamine each, Kelley wrote.

Other controlled substances and paraphernalia were found in Antoine’s room, according to the report.

Deputies found a 9mm handgun and $8,000 cash in a safe in the closet, Kelley wrote.

A computer check revealed the handgun had been stolen from a house on North Missouri Street in Cape Girardeau in December 2013.

Antoine Shockley is on federal probation for possession of intent to distribute in 2006.
