A Perry County man was charged Friday for allegedly burglarizing his employer's home, said investigators.
Donald M. Ferguson, 24, of Perryville, was arrested inside the home by deputy Blane Kohm, immediately after Ferguson allegedly pocketed $50 and was about to leave.
Kohm was hiding in the home at 953 Perry County Road 810 after the victims told the sheriff's office they suspected Ferguson of stealing from them.
During an interrogation, Ferguson admitted to stealing money from his employer's residence more times than he could remember, taking as much as $4,000, said Kohm in a probable cause statement.
Ferguson faces one count of first degree burglary, three counts of second degree burglary, one count of felony stealing and three counts of misdemeanor stealing. He remains in custody on a $35,000 bond.
