PERRYVILLE -- Two Perry County accidents Thursday have left one man dead and another injured.

David L. Keller, 28, of Perryville was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:31 a.m.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Keller was traveling southbound on Highway 51 about 10 miles south of here when he ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected, lost control as he went off the right side, overturned and was ejected.

The patrol said the accident occurred about 1:30 a.m. two miles north of the Highway J intersection.

The other accident involved William R. Reando, 47, of Perryville, who was traveling southbound on Highway B just north of the Cape Girardeau County line about 3:50 p.m.

The patrol said Reando ran off the right side of the road in a curve at the top of a hill. His vehicle ran into a yard and struck several shrubs and three trees before stopping.

He sustained moderate injuries, the patrol said.
