Perry County roadwork planned this week

Roadwork in Perry County will reduce Highway 51 to one lane and close a bridge on Route N this week, according to news releases from the Missouri Department of Transportation. MoDOT crews will repair shoulders between County Road 510 and Main Street in Perryville, reducing the road to one lane Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting. Work on the Goose Creek bridge on Route N will close that road from Sassafras Lane to County Road 816 starting at 6 a.m. Monday. The project is expected to be completed in late July.
