Nearly 2 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several unidentified weapons were found in an early morning raid conducted Friday by law enforcement at a Perry County residence on County Road 328.

A search warrant was executed at the home by members of the Perry County Sheriff's Department, in cooperation with the SEMO Drug Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, Perryville police and a St. Louis area drug task force.

Steven E. Winchester, 53, and Steven W. Winchester, 24, were charged with felonys for attempting to grow marijuana and possession with intent to distribute the drug. They also were charged with misdemeanors for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are in custody in lieu of $75,000 bond each.
