A Perry County, Missouri, man is in custody in connection with several burglaries in the past month.
On Wednesday, Perry County sheriff's deputies arrested Steven A. Wade Jr., 26, of Perryville, Missouri, according to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's Department.
The department is seeking to charge Wade with three counts of first-degree burglary, 10 counts of second-degree burglary, three counts of felony stealing, five counts of misdemeanor stealing, three counts of theft of a firearm, four counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of misdemeanor property damage and one count of theft of a motor vehicle, the release stated.
"A lot of the stolen items have been recovered," Perry County Sheriff Gary J. Schaaf said in the release. "In fact, some of the items recovered haven't even been reported stolen yet, although he showed deputies where he took them from, and we are attempting to make contact with the owners."
Wade, who was on parole from the Missouri Department of Corrections, has a parole warrant issued for him.
The department has advised Bollinger County, Missouri, officials Wade also is responsible for a recent burglary and theft there.
