PERRYVILLE -- A free public health seminar on "Advances in Pancreatic/Renal Transplant" will be held Tuesday at the Perry County Memorial Hospital at Perryville.

The seminar will be presented by Dr. Paul Garvin, professor of surgery at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Garvin is also Director of the Renal/Pancreas Transplant at St. Louis University School of Medicine and John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.

November is National Diabetes Month, and the seminar is an effort to increase public awareness on diabetic issues.

The seminar begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Education Center at the hospital. For reservations call 547-8328.
