PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Authorities have arrested a Perryville man after he spent nearly two days on the run, and charged two women with helping him evade authorities.
Michael Fuller was in custody and en route to the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff's Office at about noon Friday, according to a mobile phone alert issued by the Perryville Police Department.
The Perry County Sheriff's Department also on Friday announced felony charges for two people for hindering Fuller's prosecution.
Authorities had been trying to catch Fuller since they attempted to arrest him Wednesday afternoon on a warrant for unlawful use of a weapon. Fuller fled on foot from police after he was stopped in the area of Big Spring Boulevard in Perryville. Lt. Direk Hunt of the Perryville Police Department said Thursday that Fuller was wanted on a warrant after he allegedly pulled a gun on a person, and that separate further charges for Fuller were pending.
Brittany Tinnin, 24, and Tawnya Pingel, 53, both of Perryville, were arrested and charged with hindering prosecution for allegedly helping Fuller escape arrest by giving him a ride out of Perry County, the sheriff's department said in a release Friday. Pingel has also been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Perry County authorities warned in several alerts and news releases that Fuller was potentially armed and should be considered dangerous.
