Perry County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Tuesday on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for several burglaries after he was found beating on a pickup truck with a large stick near the Perry and Bollinger county border.
Christian Tucker, 23, of Perry County was arrested about 3 p.m. Perry County Sheriff Gary Schaaf said his office may recommend charges, possibly property damage, after the truck beating.
Deputies were searching for Tucker earlier in the day when he was seen at a woman’s house near the intersection of routes O and K in the Millheim, Missouri, area. She told deputies Tucker was dressed only in blue jeans and a black backpack and was not wearing a shirt or shoes.
Deputies thought Tucker might have been armed, but he did not have any weapons on him when he was arrested, Schaaf said.
