PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Perry County authorities arrested three people on drug charges following an undercover operation that began in August.

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Perry County authorities arrested three people on drug charges following an undercover operation that began in August.

Perry County sheriff's deputies arrested Jody A. Knobloch, 38, and Brandon K. Sterling, 21, both of Perryville, on Wednesday and charged them with felony distribution of a controlled substance, according to a news release. Alexa M. Vernon, 17, of Perryville turned herself in to authorities late Thursday afternoon, Sheriff Gary Schaaf said.

The arrests come after an undercover operation that began in August and ended in October, according to a news release.

Sterling and Knobloch are being held at the Perry County Jail on $25,000 cash or surety bond. Lawyers for the two were not listed on online court documents. Further information on Vernon was not yet available.
