PERRYVILLE -- Members of the Perry County Board of Education and a consultant are expected to come up with two or three finalists for the position of district superintendent following a weekend retreat.

A spokesperson for the board said the retreat was being held at an undisclosed location that was not in Perryville and was expected to end late Saturday.

Six semifinalists for the position were selected last week. The consultant, Dr. James Comer, was hired by the board to assist them with the search.
