PEOPLE & THINGS: MSTA SCHOLARSHIPS

Cape Girardeau teachers Carol Brice and Pat Renard attended the Missouri State Teachers Association-Southeast District's annual spring leadership conference at Drury Lodge at Cape Girardeau. Southeast District President Dee Cookson, a teacher at Scott County Central, announced the Ralph Ford-Southeast District MSTA $500 Scholarship recipients. Winners are Pam Cook, Morehouse Elementary, Sikeston; Jennifer Fritrsche, Perryville Elementary; Christy Giffin, Bernie Elementary; Donna Lutes, Scott City High School; Tina Ann Mathes, Centerville Elementary; Garry Pirch, Nell Holcomb; Mark Savage, Kelly Middle School, Scott Co. R-IV; Vicki Wachter, Scott City R-1; Mickee Wilfong, Bellview R-3; and Teresa Williams, Clippard Elementary, Cape Girardeau.
