Pop singer discusses recent breakup

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Marc Anthony spoke for the first time about his breakup with former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres after two years of marriage, saying the two are still in love and are good friends.

The Grammy-winning Puerto Rican singer said in an interview on NBC's "Access Hollywood" that he doesn't think he owes anyone an explanation, according to the program's Web site, which published a portion of the interview on Wednesday.

"First and foremost, I know there has been so much speculation, and I just want to say that we're really good friends and I genuinely love her and she genuinely loves me," said Anthony, whose separation from Torres earlier this month shocked his fans.

NEW YORK -- Paul McCartney will open his fall tour, "Back in the U.S.," at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee on Sept. 21.

"We're having too much fun to want to stop playing now," McCartney said in a statement released this week. The ex-Beatle toured 19 U.S. cities earlier this year.

"I'm excited to be starting up again in Milwaukee. They're a loud crowd there and the beer's good, too," he said.

The 22-concert tour, announced this week, will end Oct. 29 at the America West Arena in Phoenix. Other stops include Atlantic City, Chicago, Boston, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

McCartney's last visit to Milwaukee was June 1993 at County Stadium.-- From wire reports
