Nurse honored for 50 years of service
The Missouri Board of Nursing honored Heartland employee Edie Jones with a certificate for 50 years of service as a registered nurse. Jones has been employed at Heartland Care and Rehab Center since 1996. She graduated from Zalma High School in 1952 and entered Alton Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in May 1952, graduating in 1955. Her first job was with the VA Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
