The Southeast Missourian asked people about the 1991 World Series.

Don Priest: "I'm looking for the Atlanta Braves to win, because they turned around from tremendous losses last year. I always follow the World Series, but I'm usually a National League fan."

Julie Zwosta: "Atlanta has some strong pitchers like Steve Avery and Minnesota has some strong hitters. It should be a good match-up. I watch the World Series every year and follow the National League."

Chad Craft: "I think the Minnesota Twins will win it this year. The National League is not known for hitting curve balls, and that's what Minnesota is good at throwing. I wish the Pirates were playing."

Jack Love: "It's great to see Atlanta in the series, and I hope they win it in four games. I'm a National League fan in general, but a Cubs fan in particular. I'll try to watch all that I can and pull for the Braves."

Larry Angle: "It will be a great series with players for the Braves like Terry Pendleton and Lonnie Smith. I'm a National League rooter. It's been a while for Atlanta. They are due, so let them have it."
